Ethiopia is located in the Horn of Africa between the tropic of Cancer and the equator. The country has a population of 75 million and covers an area of 1.251 million square kilometers.
     
Visa - Entry visas can be obtained directly at the Addis Ababa International Airport, depending on nationality. Contact Ethiopian Embassy in your area for details.

Vaccines – It is always important to consult your doctor before traveling. There are no mandatory immunization for Ethiopia, but malaria prophylactics are recommended for those traveling to the West and South.

Currency - The local currency is called “Birr.” Credit cards are only accepted in international hotels and at Ethiopian Airlines offices.

Language: Amharic is the main language in Ethiopia however in different part of Ethiopia there are 83 different spoken languages.
